Like most people, my family means the absolute world to me! I am very close to both of my parents, as well as my younger sister! My sister truly is my best friend, and the older I get, the more my mom becomes like my best friend too! My parents divorced when I was young, but I am very lucky that they stayed friends throughout my childhood.
My dad is honestly one of the coolest people I have ever met. When he was 21, he hitch-hiked to Utah with $100 and a backpack. He became a ski bum, working at Snow Bird Ski Lodge near Salt Lake City to pay for his rent and get free ski rentals and mountain time. I love listening to his stories about hiking the mountains in Utah and skiing some of the best slopes in the area. My dad is also a huge car guy. Whether it’s old cars or new cars, he loves them. He recently started fixing up an old classic car which he loves!
My mama is one of my favorite people on the entire planet. She is so accepting, loving and supportive, and that’s what I love the most about her. She would do anything she could to help someone and I know I can always count on her to be there for me. She is honestly pretty funny, and she is where I get my love of board games and books from!
My sister, Kaitlyn, is 18 months younger than me, and my best friend in the world. Ever since we were little, we have been inseparable. We spent way too many days playing outside and pretending we were horses or that there were Pokemon in our backyard (we even tricked one of our neighbors into thinking we had real Pokemon somehow). We are true 90’s babies and love everything that’s a throwback from that decade, including That’s So Raven, Mario Nintendo games, and Baby Bottle Pops.
