Gregg and Vivian’s wedding at Stone House of St. Charles was like a dream come true! I am lucky enough to know Vivian through the world of photography. When we met many months ago, it was like we were kindred spirits! Vivian and I had so many of the same interests, and made similar journeys into the world of photography. We connected immediately – so I was ecstatic when she asked me to photograph her and Gregg’s wedding!
Gregg and Vivian are two of the kindest, most loving people I have ever met! To know them is to know what love and joy looks like. When I showed up on their wedding day, everyone was just excited to be there. Gregg and his groomsmen were having fun, hanging out and reminiscing over all their times together. Vivian and her bridesmaids were all smiles, laughing and enjoying snacks while they gushed over how great Vivian looked.
I knew immediately that these two were just so loved by everyone they met, and it really showed throughout their whole day. They had people come from near and mostly far to take part in their wedding day, and the room was completely packed with people who loved them!
From their ceremony in front of the gorgeous arbor, to their first dance on the cloud-like fog, their wedding day was filled with happy moments that were both gorgeous and filled with so much love. Gregg and Vivian put so much thought into every last detail and it showed! I am still using the custom mason jar that was my place holder for my table! And their table numbers – every table was labeled with a memory of the two of them that corresponded to the table number. My favorite was 6 for the number of cities they visited in Switzerland (because you know I love to travel).
I am so happy to share Gregg and Vivian’s sweet wedding day!
Thank you, Kayla for this lovely post!! 🙂
