When I met up with Chris and Erin for their engagement session, I knew immediately that we would get along! Not only are they two of the cutest people around, they are so genuinely kind and sweet to everyone around them. Talking to them feels like talking to old friends! I am so lucky to be able to spend my days loving on couples as sweet as these two!
Chris and Erin had a gorgeous wedding day at The Weingarten that began with one of the cutest first looks I have ever seen! Chris’s face when he saw Erin for the first time was priceless (he may have cried)! My favorite thing about a first look is when my couples get to see each other for the first time and then spend a few minutes alone loving on each other and enjoying each other’s company. Chris and Erin definitely took advantage of that and I loved that they got to spend some time holding each other – it was definitely my favorite part of the day!
After their first look, we headed to Old Baum Church in Waterloo, where there wasn’t a dry eye in the house during their emotional, intimate wedding ceremony. Everyone there was crying (including me!) and it was just such an emotional day! Chris even cried when he saw Erin walking down the aisle with her dad! Oops, was I supposed to say that?!
Their wedding day was such a fun, emotional and romantic day, and I am so happy that I got to share it with them. Chris and Erin put so much work into their day, including making wooden lanterns by hand (say what?!) and organizing every detail, but the best part was definitely having all their closest friends and family there to share in their joy with them.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Lybarger!
