There are no words to describe how amazing Sam and Emily’s wedding day was! I have been looking forward to this day for literally over a year. Ever since their engagement session last fall, I just knew that Sam and Emily’s wedding day was going to be nothing short of amazing!

When I say that Sam’s reaction to seeing Emily walk down the aisle left me speechless, I am not kidding! He started crying before he ever even saw her. Just knowing that he was about to see her for the first time made him tear up! I know I wasn’t the only one that wanted to cry when they saw Sam crying too. It was definitely one of the cutest things I have ever seen! (Can you blame him? Emily looked gorgeous!)

Sam and Emily shared their day at the gorgeous Rocking J Ranch in High Ridge, MO. I am absolutely in love with this venue. Their day was filled with lots of colorful, fall trees, rolling hills and a beautiful backdrop. I would photograph every wedding here if I could! The venue was perfect down to every last detail.

Wedding days are a huge mix of emotions – excitement that the day you’ve been planning for is finally here, and a tinge of sadness at the thought it will soon be over – and it is the same way for me! I am always so excited for my couple’s wedding days, but also sad because I know it will be over in a few hours! I had so much fun celebrating with Sam and Emily along with their friends and family, and even though I am sad it’s over, I am so excited to see what the future brings for the two of them! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Maag!
