Anytime a proposal story starts with “We were at Disney World.”, I am immediately hooked! While Nick and Claire were at Disney World, preparing for all of the holiday excitement, Claire had no idea what was about to happen. As they approached the castle, just as the Christmas lights were turning on, Nick got down on one knee and asked Claire one simple question: “Will you go on more adventures with me?” I am sure you already know what her answer was!

If you know me, you know I am all about all things Disney, so I knew immediately I was going to get along with Nick and Claire! As soon as we started emailing back and forth, we realized that I was getting ready to go on a Disney cruise while they were planning their honeymoon on one! I was so excited when I realized they had the same idea of a great vacation that I did!

When I met up with Nick and Claire at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, I was not expecting to have warm weather in February, but we were blessed with the most beautiful weather for their engagement session! The sun was shining, I got hot in my coat, and Claire was able to get some photos in her dress without freezing – I’d say that’s a huge success in February!

I had so much fun hanging out with these two and getting to capture some magic! Talking about their wedding, their new house they are closing on (on Valentine’s Day!) and their dream honeymoon just made my heart so, so happy! I just love when I get to connect with my couples and we start to feel like friends! And we got some seriously gorgeous images at The Gardens!

I am so excited to see these two get married in July! It is going to be the most beautiful day!
