When I met up with Nate and Gabbie, I knew we were going to click immediately! Like me, they are totally obsessed with their dogs, which always makes you a good person in my book! We had so much fun chatting about our babies and comparing stories about what it’s like to own a “hunting” dog. While my beagles aren’t actually trained hunters, they sure think they are! But, Nate and Gabbie’s lab is actually a trained hunting dog. She was probably the most well behaved dog I have ever seen!
On the day of their session, we got lucky and had some of the most beautiful weather I have seen so far this year! We met up at New Town at St. Charles, which is such a fun and unique location for a session. I love the look of all of the unique architecture, and the whole area has such a cute, quaint vibe to it. One thing about having a session in the winter is that all of the foliage is typically dead, so it so nice to have the pretty architecture of New Town to make the location look more alive!
Before their session, Nate told me how much he hated getting his photos taken, and I promised him that he would be great at it! Honestly, I think he did such a good job! I mean, look at how stinking cute these photos are! By the end of the session, I think I had him convinced that he could have a career in modeling, and Gabbie was so excited to have these sweet photos to celebrate their engagement!
If you’re looking for a wedding photographer in the St. Louis area, I specialize in capturing romantic, playful and vibrant photos that show exactly who you are as a couple.
